Chief Executive Officer, St Leger Homes Ltd

Susan Jordan joined St Leger Homes in Doncaster as Chief Executive in May 2009.  St Leger Homes was formed in October 2005 and manages approximately 21,000 homes on behalf of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council. Susan spent her first year working with the Board, Staff and Customers, developing and delivering the organisations vision to deliver excellent services, be customer focused and provide quality homes in quality neighbourhoods. This was recognised by the award of a 3 star / promising prospects judgement by the Audit Commission in November 2010.

Since then the organisation has been awarded Customer Service Excellence accreditation, 5 stars from the British Safety Council for its Health & Safety service and has negotiated an extension to its Management Agreement with Doncaster Council.

Susan is currently working more closely with the Council through its Strategic Partnership arrangement and is heavily involved in Adults Safeguarding inDoncaster.

In addition, Susan is focussing attention on growing and diversifying the business, and is involved in the ongoing development of the Re:Allies procurement consortia with Procure Plus and Efficiency North.

Prior to joining St Leger Homes, Susan spent 5 years developing, creating and managing Six Town Housing – an ALMO in Bury, Greater Manchester and steering it through many changes, growth and two Audit Commission inspections.  Prior to that Susan spent time transforming the Housing Service in Bury.

Susan is very passionate about making a real difference for customers and doing the right things for the right reasons.
