Projects funded in 2013


The 7 projects listed below, all based at locations throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region, were awarded up to £5k funding in the first round of bids to the 4 Good Fund when it opened in 2013.

Case fit and kit, Case Training Services Ltd

IT equipment update for charity providing day services to disabled adults in Hull and East Riding.

Patchwork, Shores Homecare

Purchase of greenhouse to cultivate vegetable seeds to support programme to encourage residents to grow vegetables in their gardens, and donate vegetables to vulnerable people.

Removing Barriers, Walton Community Library

Renovation of Oakhill Brick Ponds, Oakhill Country Park

Development of former brick ponds to make the area more accessible.

Sunflower Activity Centre , Central Children’s Section, North East Lincolnshire

Creation of a large, sustainable children’s play area for under 5’s, with role-play wooden equipment and sand pit, to help develop curiosity and sense of exploration.

Teentech Humber STEM Promotion

TeenTech events to support economic regeneration by stimulating young people’s interest in careers in STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths

Men in Sheds, Groundworks Leeds
