Projects funded in 2016

The projects listed below, all based across the Yorkshire and Humber region, were awarded up to £10,000 through the 4 Good Fund in 2016.

  • Jenga Training CIC – funding to develop training courses
  • SPIDER Y Ltd – promotion of disability sport and helping break down barriers and improve awareness of disabilities
  • One in A Million – purchase of equipment to enable the organisation to offer IT training courses
  • Rotherham Federation of Communities - feasibility study for the future use of a community centre
  • Premier Learning – purchase of equipment
  • Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre – refurbishment of showers and changing rooms at the community leisure centre
  • Enter Creative Ltd – engaging with the local community through street art, with the aim of reducing graffiti
  • Tang Hall SMART CIC - establishing a social enterprise to hire people with disabilities and produce music equipment for disabled people
  • The Clock - refurbishment of the church hall from which the Clock operates
  • Eastside Community Centre – extension/ refurbishment of kitchen
  • The Blueberry Academy – creation of an enterprise hub to support disabled people to establish businesses of their own
