GRAHAM & YOR4Good providing social value

For many years, parents and children have had to navigate muddy puddles when walking into the grounds of St Andrew’s Primary School in Kirk Ella, East Yorkshire – with the mess even treading its way into classrooms. Over the summer holidays, GRAHAM’s dedicated team got to work constructing a new section of footpath that will make school drop-offs and pick-ups cleaner, safer, and more pleasant for everyone.

The extended footpath has been delivered with YOR4Good on the A164 & Jock’s Lodge Improvement Scheme near Beverley, bringing a long-awaited solution to a muddy problem. This is a small change with a big impact for everyone visiting the school in the future.

Cllr Gary McMaster, Willerby and Kirk Ella Ward commented:

“On behalf of the parents and children of St Andrews School in Kirk Ella, I would like to thank the team at GRAHAM for very kindly supplying the materials and the professional labour to tarmac a portion of the walkway outside the St Andrews School entrance in Kirk Ella.

For many years now, parents and children have had to endure puddles and even muddy shoes when crossing the road into the school grounds. The very kind contribution will be a huge surprise and pleasure for the children and parents when they return after the school holidays.”
