Eight contractors secure places on new £1bn framework

YORhub is delighted to announce the award of its new YORcivil Major Works 2 Framework.

Eight construction firms have been given places on the framework – enabling them to be potentially awarded valuable contracts to carry out civil engineering projects for councils and other organisations across the Yorkshire & Humber region.

The framework is designed to deliver civil engineering projects including highways, bridges and structural work, drainage, urban realm, flood alleviation and coastal works valued over £10 million.

YORcivil Major Works 2 consists of one lot for civil engineering projects over £10m in value and is managed by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Sheffield City Council respectively.

YORcivil Major Works 2 is now live and will run for a period of 4 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years. It replaces the existing YORcivil Major Works framework which will expire in December 2025 and complements the YORcivil3 framework, which delivers civil engineering projects up to £10m in value.
