Creating a Supply Chain Engagement Toolkit

YORhub in partnership with Leeds Beckett University have formed a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) to create a Supply Chain Engagement Toolkit, designed to boost engagement with SMEs and bring innovation to the sector.

What is the KTP project?

A KTP connects businesses that have an innovation idea with the academic expertise to help deliver it. The YORhub and Leeds Beckett University KTP addresses national challenges of supply chain engagement in public procurement and aims to increase the number and diversity of regional small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with access to public sector procurement frameworks.  The project is part-funded by the Government through Innovate UK and will run for two years and develop innovative solutions and strategies that ultimately identify and embed functional improvements and enhancing delivery from the supply chain across the construction industry.

KTP Associate

The work is managed by KTP Associate and YORhub team member Michelle Anaele, who faced stiff competition and a rigorous interview process before being appointed to the role. Michelle will be fully supported by the Leeds Beckett academic team and her time will be split between Leeds Beckett University and YORhub.
