YORhub’s first framework procured under the Procurement Act 2023 is awarded.

YORhub signs up to the Carbon Reduction Code for the Built Environment

YORhub awards the first of our frameworks with the Local Government Association’s modern slavery guidance embedded (YORbuild3 Medium Works) – modern slavery requirements are now built into all our YORhub frameworks

YORhub was invited to join the CDBB Local Authority Digital Working Group. CDBB is a partnership between BEIS and Cambridge University, and the working group will provide guidance on digital initiatives and their benefits to local authority outcomes.

YORbuild Major Works is launched. This framework is designed to deliver projects over £10million in value

YORhub began a collaboration with Leeds Beckett University in 2018 to support academic research and studies. In 2020 we arranged to sponsor two PhD students in the fields of Modern Methods of Construction and Carbon reduction.

YORhub is invited to join the Construction Playbook Steering Group, enabling us to input to national government best practice guidance

This date marked ten years since the launch of our first framework, YORbuild.
In 2019, the YORbuild2 pipeline was on track to reach £1 billion.

YORhub's first client conference took place. The event was well-attended by a wide range of public sector bodies from across our region including councils, the health sector and education sector.

YORhub collaborated with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust to develop a series of best practice guidelines for protecting wildlife during construction projects

YORhub is commissioned by the LGA to produce the Effective Construction Frameworks which sets out the benefits for the public sector of collaboration through the use of frameworks. The report was updated in 2020.

YORhub gained accreditation from the National Association of Construction Frameworks which promotes best practice in local government construction procurement.

The 4 Good Fund, now known as YOR4Good, is our community fund which supports economic regeneration in the area covered by YORhub’s frameworks. It was the first social value initiative of its type in the country to support social and economic regeneration. To date we have supported 250 projects through donations exceeding £2.1 million.
