Our YORcivil frameworks help local authorities and other public and third sector organisations procure high-quality civil engineering works.

We were procuring civil engineering frameworks long before YORhub was even an idea, and we bring over two decades of learning and experience to our YORcivil suite of frameworks.

YORcivil3 helps local authorities and other public and third sector organisations procure high-quality civil engineering services.

The framework is due to expire at the end of July 2027 with the option to extend for two further years.

It’s available to organisations across the Yorkshire & Humber region and the Sheffield LEP region.

Benefits

The YORcivil frameworks are aligned with the Construction Playbook. Key features include direct selection and single- or two-stage mini competition call-off options, and the use of NEC4 as the preferred form of contract. Other benefits to our clients and contractors:

  • Enhanced Modern Slavery requirements

Lot structure

YORcivil3 was designed to help all types of local authorities and public sector bodies in the region.

The framework consists of two sub-regional frameworks, each with separate lots that deal with different types or values of work.

It features both small and medium enterprises and larger regional and national contractors.

YORcivil Major Works 2

Specifically designed to deliver major works in excess of £10m in value, YORcivil Major Works 2 helps local authorities and other public sector organisations procure high quality civil engineering services.

The framework will expire in November 2029 with an option to extend for 2 years.

Benefits

YORcivil Major Works 2 framework complies with the Construction Playbook. It provides  call-off methods that include direct selection and single- or two-stage mini competition, championing NEC4 as the standard contract form.

It offers the following benefits to our clients and contractors:

  • Revised lotting structure
  • Support for increased carbon reduction
  • Enhanced Modern Slavery requirements
