Civil Engineering
Our YORcivil frameworks help local authorities and other public and third sector organisations procure high-quality civil engineering works.
We were procuring civil engineering frameworks long before YORhub was even an idea, and we bring over two decades of learning and experience to our YORcivil suite of frameworks.
Benefits
The YORcivil frameworks are aligned with the Construction Playbook. Key features include direct selection and single- or two-stage mini competition call-off options, and the use of NEC4 as the preferred form of contract. Other benefits to our clients and contractors:
- Greater emphasis on collaboration
- Revised lotting structure
- Support for increased carbon reduction
- Enhanced Modern Slavery requirements
- Suitable for a wide range of sectors including Local authority, General public services, Public order and safety, Environment, Regeneration, Housing and community amenities, Social protection, Developments, and Recreation, culture and religion
Lot structure
YORcivil3 was designed to help all types of local authorities and public sector bodies in the region.
The framework consists of two sub-regional frameworks, each with separate lots that deal with different types or values of work.
It features both small and medium enterprises and larger regional and national contractors.
