Digital Construction
Digital Construction
Through our chairing of the Local Government Association’s Digital Construction Working Group, we identify examples of best practice across the industry and work to share these across the country.
Examples of the groups outputs include:
“SiteIQ” by Assentian
Assentian are developing a tool to identify highways defects on images so local authorities will be able to submit a bank of images and the system will be able to pick up where defects exist and need to be rectified, which will be of use both in checking the quality of highways projects under construction but also to monitor the quality of existing highway assets. Assentian are looking for local authorities and highway authorities to collaborate with, providing a period of free access to their tool in return for provision of highway image datasets.
