YORhub is delighted to welcome Caroline Key into her new role as Client Engagement Advisor, working alongside Client Engagement Lead, Mike Raven and strengthening the support available to clients across the region.

Caroline brings with her a wealth of award-winning experience from across the construction sector spanning over nearly two decades, she has worked extensively as a project manager delivering new build and refurbishment projects across Yorkshire and the Humber, giving her a strong, practical understanding of project delivery from brief through to completion.

Her background also includes significant experience with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), where she worked as a Fund Manager in close collaboration with the Department for Education (DfE), supporting the delivery of employment and skills initiatives, including apprenticeships and workforce development programmes. During her time at CITB, she also worked closely with major infrastructure projects to help maximise employment, skills, and training outcomes across the construction sector. She has also been actively involved with industry bodies such as Constructing Excellence, where she has contributed to driving best practice and improving outcomes across the sector. Caroline is currently co-chair of the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humber Club (www.ceyhclub.co.uk)

In addition to her delivery experience, Caroline is a recognised industry leader and collaborator, having played an active role in initiatives such as Generation 4 Change where she was national co-chair for several years, supporting the development of future talent in construction and promoting positive change across the industry. Caroline started her career working for a contractor on the first YORbuild framework.

Speaking about her new role, Caroline said:

“Having started my career working on the first YORbuild framework, it’s great to now be supporting clients through YORhub and helping shape how we continue to improve the experience across the region. I’m passionate about making procurement and project delivery as straightforward, collaborative and practical as possible, while helping clients achieve the best outcomes for their projects, communities and supply chains.”

In her role with YORhub, Caroline works closely with clients to:

• Provide early advice on the best procurement and delivery routes
• Support the development of projects from initial concept through to delivery
• Improve client experience and engagement across YORhub frameworks
• Help ensure projects achieve strong outcomes aligned with best practice

Within YORhub Caroline is also leading work to enhance client engagement, including developing improved approaches to onboarding, strengthening communication, and ensuring feedback is embedded into how YORhub continues to evolve its service.

Caroline’s appointment reinforces YORhub’s commitment to providing accessible, practical and client-focused support, ensuring that projects across the region are delivered efficiently, collaboratively and to the highest standards.
