Mark Blundy, Bowmer and Kirkland’s Group Director of Health and Safety, has had a key involvement in the construction industry’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. He has had involvement in the CLC guides and the Tier 1 Contractors Group, helping to ensure contractors are aligned and consistent in their response to Covid-19.

This webinar will reflect on lessons learned from the pandemic, and in particular from one project where Bowmer and Kirkland managed a Tier 1 Public Health Major Incident when 60 of 550 workers tested positive for Covid-19 from a community outbreak and transmission.

It will also discuss why early outbreak management and all the requirements are important to be aware of, even when people are doing their best to mitigate the spread by washing their hands, carrying out regular cleaning, maintaining social distancing, and wearing face coverings.
