YORhub at UKREiiF 2025

YORhub debuts at UKREiiF

YORhub proudly attended the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) held in Leeds from May 20 – 22.

UKREiiF is considered the largest event of its kind in the UK and brings together investors, developers, local authorities, and government officials, from across the country and abroad. The three-day event attracted approximately 18,000 attendees from across the UK and provided the perfect opportunity for YORhub to showcase its public sector, construction procurement frameworks and forge new connections with various sectors within the built environment. UKREiiF centres on driving investment and regeneration within the UK and focuses on sustainable and inclusive growth in the property and construction industries.

Besides the main conference, UKREiiF includes a wide array of fringe events and activities that further contribute to its overall impact and reach.

Great atmosphere at the Event

YORhub’s stand was staffed by Mike Raven, Performance & Improvement Manager, and Rachael Grimes, YORbuild Framework Manager, who enjoyed meeting new visitors and numerous existing suppliers and clients, throughout the event. The team attended various talks and events, including discussions on YORbuild-procured works in Leeds.

Beyond strengthening existing relationships, Mike and Rachael also established new connections with key organisations, highlighting the opportunities in the region. A particularly interesting moment was meeting a delegation from Ukraine, highlighting the forum’s international reach and collaborative spirit.

“It’s an amazing conference,” said Mike, “You get to make connections that you would never have the opportunity to make anywhere else. Everyone is so open to a chat. The vibe is so friendly and it’s been a great opportunity to start some really good new conversations”.

Rachael agreed, saying: “It was a great event and we also supported fringe events with Kier, Wates, Atkins Realis and RLB. We had a lot of interest, both from potential clients and also contractors who were interested in joining the framework and/or working for the councils, as well as students who were interested in work experience placements.”

UKREiiF has a great economic impact in the local area – estimated at over £20 million in spending and was a great opportunity to showcase YORhub frameworks and social value initiatives that have been benefitting the region for over 10 years. YORhub underscores the importance of collaborative procurement in driving economic regeneration, sustainable development and building a better Yorkshire & Humber.
