Successful CEYH HE Event
The Yorkshire & Humber Constructing Excellence Club recently ran a high profile event at Sheffield Hallam University on the future of construction in the Higher Education sector.
Organised by YORhub contractor Tilbury Douglas, the panel, representing clients, consultants, and contractors, and with representation from Mike Raven, Club Co-Chair and YORhub Performance & Improvement Manager, talked about what clients look for when appointing suppliers, working in a live campus environment, and how expectations of students is changing in respect to the built environment and facilities universities offer.
The extremely well attended event ended with a talk by former rugby player Johnny Lawless of Minds Matter, discussing wellbeing and mental health.
