Ten community projects successful
Following the assessment of applications, the latest round of the YOR4Good Fund Cash Grant (Feb) 2024 has been awarded.
Applications were invited in February 2024, with an application deadline of 31st March 2024. This year, the YOR4Good Fund Cash Grant received the largest number of applications, which meant that we had to make some very difficult decisions as part of the selection process. With the £100,000 of funding available, we have been able to support the ten highest scoring applications listed in alphabetical order below:
Anlaby Village Hall awarded £8,872.24 for building improvements and refurbishment
Folk in the Field has been awarded £8,279.21 to purchase a generator
Keighley Healthy Living has been awarded £10,000.00 for building repairs and improvements
Kirklees College has been awarded £10,000.00 to purchase a portacabin
Next Door But One CIC has been awarded £9,250.00 for career workshops for the performing arts
Roundabout Ltd has been awarded £10,000.00 for a new roof
Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind awarded £9,860.00 for refurbishment and installation of accessible facilities
Southern Holderness Resource Centre awarded £10,000.00 for the purchase and installation of a walk-in chiller
Supporters of Cherry Burton Guides and Scouts 100 Club has been awarded £9,668.63 for building improvements and refurbishment
Yorkshire Children’s Charity has been awarded £10,000.00 for the provision a multi sensory playground
