YORhub advertises new YORbuild Major Works Framework

YORhub has just published an EU advert for a £1.5 billion major building works framework for projects in excess of £10m.
This follows the success of the current YORbuild2 framework in delivering major public sector projects across the Yorkshire and Humber region and neighbouring areas. Works will include a wide range of new build and refurbishment works.
Lots
The new framework will comprise two lots. The first is for projects over £10m up to £30m and 8 contractors are proposed to be appointed to this Lot. The second Lot is for projects over£30m and it is proposed that 6 firms will be appointed to this Lot.
Flexible options
The YORbuild Major Works framework offers clients the flexibility to choose either the NEC4, NEC3 or JCT form of contract.
Call off options include direct selection and single or two-stage mini competitions.
Timescales
Firms interested in tendering for this framework may download the documents and register interest on the YORtender e-tendering portal.
Tenders are to be returned in early September 2019 and framework award is expected by December.
