YORhub awards new professional services consultancy framework

43 consultants win place on YORconsult3
YORhub is delighted to announce the award of its new professional services consultancy framework – YORconsult3.
43 companies have secured places on the new framework across 12 different lots. These include services such as architectural, structural and civil engineering, project management and quantity surveying, amongst various other construction related disciplines.
Appointment to the YORconsult3 Consultants Framework Agreement will allow these firms to potentially secure valuable contracts to deliver professional consultancy services for local authorities and other public organisations throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region. This may include supporting a wide range of projects, from standalone commissions for design, options appraisals, studies and surveys, to more complex, multi-year, multi-million pound service requirements for full project teams or delivery partner arrangements.
YORconsult3 is a single framework that is managed in two sub-regions by the YORconsult Framework Team. The team from East Riding of Yorkshire Council is responsible for the North & East area and the team from Sheffield City Council the South & West.
The total estimated value of YORconsult3 is £152 million over the four-year duration and there is an option to extend the framework to a maximum of six years.
YORconsult3 follows the successful delivery of the YORconsult2 framework, which to date has delivered over 200 projects for a multitude of clients, with a total value of c. £80m.

The new YORconsult3 framework is aligned with the Construction Playbook v1.1 to deliver best practice outcomes.
Key features of YORconsult3 include direct selection and single- or two-stage mini competition call off options, and the use of NEC4 as the preferred form of contract.
