State of the art triathlon training facility
Featuring a refurbished pavillion, 1.6km closed cycling track and several sports pitches, the facility will continue to uphold the university's commitment to encouraged grass roots sports in the local area.
Joint funded by the University of Leeds, UK Sport and British Cycling, this advanced facility was built to provide top athletes and students in at the university with incredible sports development opportunities.
An award winning facility
Winner of the Best Value category at the Yorkshire and Humber Constructing Excellence awards, and Best Refurbishment at the Education Estates awards, the training facility was built to capitalise on the popularity of cycling in the region after the Tour De France visited the county in 2014, and the creation of the Tour De Yorkshire since.

The home of British Triathlon
The centre was named in honour of Jonny and Alistair Brownlee, both of whom have won medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic games.
It was officially opened by the brothers in April 2017
