State of the art medical education

In January 2021, BAM Construction completed a new medical school building for the University of Lincoln.

It is the first building on the University's campus to achieve Zero Carbon.

A Zero Carbon Building

The project selected air source heat pumps as the heating technology for achieving zero carbon. In addition, the building features a living wall, solar photovoltaic walls and rooftop solar photovoltaic panels.

Dedicated medical facility

The new building offers state of the art facilities comprising lecture theatres, laboratories, anatomy suites and dedicated science library. Students have access to a clinical skills suite with mock consultation rooms, and the latest technologies for high quality teaching.
