Social housing for Leeds
Willmott Dixon completed the development of 59 new homes across two sites in Gipton and Osmondthorpe for Leeds City Council.
The scheme was procured through YORbuild2 and achieved Defect Free Handover status on both sites.
The properties are located across two sites and feature a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes. All are exclusively reserved for social housing and include bungalows and disabled units.
Social value built-in
Over the course of the project Willmott Dixon invested over 10% of the project’s value back into the community. This was achieved through working with schools, colleges, and local projects, and ensuring that the majority of spend and labour was within 40 miles of the site.
Defect Free Handover
The Beeches and The Nevilles were each awarded Defect Free Handover status by Leeds City Council.
