Funding available to groups across our region

YOR4Good provides grants of up to £10,000 to community groups to support local economic regeneration projects.

Projects can also be implemented directly by contractors while they are on site.

The grant scheme is funded through donations of money or benefits in kind from the contractors when they are awarded building projects through YORhub, as part of their social responsibility commitments

The YOR4Good fund recently awarded a total of £184,000 to community groups across Yorkshire, including these local projects:

Driffield Methodist Church received benefit in kind worth £10,000 from a contractor towards the creation of a community garden/urban green space.

Beverley Town Youth Football Club received £1,100 to fund a new football kit.

Rooted in Hull received benefit in kind worth £10,000 from a contractor towards scaffolding and decking walkways.

This is a fantastic scheme whereby local groups can benefit from the construction projects being built across our region, thanks to councils and contractors working together
