Over £6,000 was presented to two incredible organisations

Esh, a YORhub contractor, has donated funds to organisations working to improve their communities. The Suit Works and The Real Junk Food Project are using these funds to develop their schemes and provide support for even more people.

We are very proud of the work we do to support our communities and do our upmost to make real difference in the local area.

Chris Hale, Commercial Director at Esh Construction

When it comes to construction procurement, local authorities have to think about the social value their projects deliver. That's why we've thought about it too. Social value is included in all our frameworks to provide support to the local area.

Stan Brown, YOR4Good coordinator

Esh made their donations through the YOR4Good programme

YOR4Good is the community grant initiative of YORhub, a partnership between East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Leeds City Council, Scarborough Borough Council, Sheffield City Council and Rotherham Metropolitan District Council, and its framework construction contractors, who use part of their corporate social responsibility commitments to contribute to the YOR4Good fund. This fund provides a combination of cash and/or resources to support community groups in our region.
