After more than 17 years at Sheffield City Council, Andrew Darch is leaving to take up a new position with the Department for Education.

Andrew’s primary role at Sheffield Council has been as a Senior Quantity Surveyor assisting in the delivery of the council’s capital programme. However, alongside this, many will know Andrew for his work in supporting Sheffield City Council as a contracting authority for YORhub, notably working with the YORconsult and YORcivil frameworks.

Andrew’s first involvement with YORhub was in January 2014. He has steadily increased his framework involvement over the years working alongside Chris Jackson and Louisa Yellott to support clients across the region in the delivery and procurement of their respective professional consultancy services and works contracting requirements.

Andrew is well respected for his professionalism, diligence, reliability and commitment, and his experience and knowledge across the board will be sadly missed. His friends and colleagues at YORhub would like to thank Andrew for his highly valued contribution over eight years. We wish him all the very best with his new job at the DfE and every continued success for the future.

Andrew’s final day with YORhub is Friday 25 February 2022.

YORhub is looking to recruit a replacement for Andrew to assist in covering the YORconsult and YORcivil work in the South and West area but in the meantime all framework matters for the region will continue to be addressed by Chris and Louisa. Please note that there are no changes to the personnel covering the North and East of the area.
