Forty-four apartments completed for Rotherham Council
Esh Construction has completed the development of the new apartments in Rotherham as part of the council's commitment to deliver affordable housing for the area.
The scheme was procured through YORbuild2 and includes a contribution by Esh to YORhub's YOR4Good fund.
Mixed ownership options
Broom Hayes consists of:
20 x 2 bed apartments available for shared ownership
12 x 2 bed apartments for Council rent
12 x 1 bed apartments for Council rent
Five blocks make up the development, which is within easy walking and cycling distance of Rotherham town centre and has nearby public transport links.
The show home is now open for prospective buyers and tenants to view the properties on offer.
Procured through YORbuild2
The scheme was awarded to Esh Construction in 2019 following a single stage competition.
As part of their delivery of the project, Esh donated over £7500 to YORhub’s YOR4Good fund, a social value initiative built into all of YORhub’s frameworks. The fund supports community projects through donations or benefits in kind made by framework contractors on award of a contract.
