YORhub celebrates industry talent
The CEYH Awards 2026 once again saw YORhub projects and construction partners recognised for the value they bring to both the industry and the communities they serve, highlighting consistently high standards and meaningful, lasting impact. YORhub congratulates the winners and nominees for their outstanding acheivements.
Each year, the CEYH Awards bring together the very best in the sector to celebrate organisations, partnerships and projects that demonstrate excellence in practice and inspire innovation across the industry. The awards recognise achievements from across the public and private sectors, spanning micro businesses, SMEs and major organisations, as well as designers, consultants, clients and supply chain partners.

YORbuild Projects included Rother Valley Country Park, nominated for Building Project of the year, and Keelham Primary School nominated in the Retrofit category.
The People and Culture category included three nominees who are YORhub suppliers: Arcus FM, Esh Construction and Tilbury Douglas.
In the Social Impact category – ESH Construction Skills Steet Zone was supported by the YOR4Good Fund via a contribution linked to the Sheffield Road and Maltby Bus Corridor project, procured via YORcivil2.
A special congratulations from everyone at YORhub to Quantik, who took home SME of the Year – an award we were proud to sponsor and to S+SA Architects who were awarded a highly commended. YORhub Client Engagement Lead, Mike Raven, who presented the award said:
“YORhub has a long relationship with Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humber and we were delighted to again sponsor the SME of the Year awards – as a regional construction framework provider, supporting the local supply chain is so important, and that starts with the SMEs. Congratulations to Quantik and S+SA Architects.”

The evening had the theme “Northern Soul” (there was a rumour that the organisers finally agreed to this after many years of the chair of Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humber, Tom Oulton, begging for this title) and attendees enjoyed a fantastic evening of great food and music. The host, comedian Lucy Porter, held the 400+ attendees spellbound with her hilarious observations of the hundreds of abbreviations casually used in the construction industry, and her warm comments on the sponsors who make the awards possible.
Mike reflected on the evening: “”We were delighted to see so many YORhub partners, contractors and projects recognised across the categories. The breadth and quality of the shortlist highlights the strength of our regional supply chain and the positive difference it makes to communities across Yorkshire and beyond. Thank you to CEYH for delivering another brilliant event, and congratulations again to all finalists and winners.”
