Fifteen community groups across Yorkshire and the surrounding area have been successful in their applications to the YOR4Good scheme

They will receive either grants or construction labour, plant and materials to support their work in the community.  A further eight groups local to where YORhub contractors are currently working have taken advantage of an offer for free labour, plant and materials to assist them with their work in the community

YOR4Good is the community grant initiative of YORhub

The scheme is a partnership between East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Leeds City Council, Scarborough Borough Council, Sheffield City Council and Rotherham Metropolitan District Council, and its framework construction contractors, who use part of their corporate social responsibility commitments to contribute to the YOR4Good fund. This fund provides a combination of cash and/or resources to support community groups in our region.
